Have you ever wondered about the world?  Where did we come from?  When?  Is history more than what is written in history books?  Are we missing something?  Are we missing many things?  Are we missing everything?

Who knows?

What if you were able to turn to a book … a source that would give you answers to these questions?

You can – if you read “The Only Planet of Choice”. You’ve heard about “choice.”  That’s what makes you special. You have the gift to ‘choose.’  Have you ever chosen wrongly?  Do you know why?  Yet you would not want to give up that gift of free will. Would you?

This is a challenge … a challenge to your beliefs, a challenge to your judgment, an opportunity to widen your horizon. But it will require a willingness to listen – maybe not accept – but to listen.

It will be a challenge to everything you’ve learned, even a challenge to your gut reactions. Open the door – even a crack. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be afraid of other ideas, other answers, to think what others have not thought.

Where would our world be if Leonardo had only painted as others had painted before, if Einstein had never thought outside the box, if Plato had let others opinions restrict his own thinking, if John Muir had not opened his eyes to see what others did not, if Martin Luther King had accepted what society said he should.

But Leonardo da Vinci had visions, Einstein knocked down the box, Plato threw off the chains of others beliefs, John Muir did open his eyes, Martin Luther King did dream.

What are you thinking?  Seeing?  Envisioning?  Dreaming?

Time for you to proceed.

I am Grey Eyes, A Story of Old Florida

$22.00

Available: Usually ships within 24 hours.
Softcover: 282 pages
Author: William Ryan

ISBN: 978-1-60585-645-2

20 May 1767 Grey Eyes, a Seminole Indian, and some 25 Indian boys drive a herd of Spanish cattle from Colerain, Georgia to New Smyrna, a distance of about 106 miles.

Thus begins the story of Old Kings Road and the dramatic series of events affecting the history of Florida, as viewed thru the eyes of Grey Eyes, a most unusual Indian.

Historic events are intertwined into a readable story that is partly historic fiction, but mostly fact. The great cattle drive, the Minorcan settlers, a terrible Florida war, and a black slave uprising all mix into a little known part of Florida’s early history. The little known story of the Black Seminoles is told here along with the events that shaped Florida along Old Kings Road.

Author and historian William Ryan is webmaster for the Flagler County Public Library’s Flagler Memories group, and is active in Flagler County Florida historical societies. He also wrote “The Search for Old Kings Road” from which much of this novel is taken.

Grey Eyes will lead you thru a violent part of Florida History that brought many of the Florida Seminoles into Mexico. This is a little known part of Florida’s rich, and often violent past.

A collection of short stories and poetry written about my twenty-three years as a pilot with Eastern Airlines.

To understand airline life at that time, you must visualize two separate and completely different worlds. One world is the normal home life with a wife and two kiddies, the lawn to be mowed and PTA duty. The other world is one of long days in a cramped cockpit, sometimes with someone you detest, and short nights in some cheap motel where the only friends you have are bartenders and members of your own kind, stranded far from home.

“We don’t talk about it.” That’s what the veteran policeman from Brooklyn’s 92nd Precinct, a good and honest cop, told his rookie partner one day. We don’t get mixed up in it–not the graft, not the shakedowns, not the abuse, not the endless turf battles among higher-ups. We deal with these things however we can. But we don’t talk about it.

One day, a good cop dies And, talk about it or not, his comrades know they have to do something about it.

A tale of what went on behind the New York’s Blue Wall in the roaring 70’s...

“Let the f**ks kill each other.” That was the credo of Captain Maximilian Leopold, of Brooklyn’s 92nd precinct. But even Joe Picon, the rookie cop, knew the f**ks didn’t always kill other f**cks. When “the f**ks” began to converge–the Jimenez Gang, the Brass Knuckle Rapist, Skinhead Ramos, turf-hungry bureaucrats, bean-counting number crunchers, and the lust-crazed Captain himself–the victim who died wasn’t a f**k at all. He was a good cop from another precinct, and he had been blind sided by another credo even good cops follow: “We don’t talk about it.”

Fidel Castro's 26 July Movement responds to Batista's cruel dictatorship in Cuba with student protests and guerilla attacks against the Cuban army. Castro is in Key West, Florida raising money for his exile army training in Mexico. An assassin sent to Key West by Batista to kill Castro mistakenly murders a young man who resembles Castro. Ramón, the oldest brother of the murdered man, tracks the assassin to Cuba to avenge his brother's death. After seeing conditions in Cuba, Ramón decides to help overthrow Batista and he smuggles guns to Castro's army in Mexico and later in Cuba.

When relations between the United States and Cuba sour after Castro's takeover, the CIA blackmails Ramón to run guns to anti-Castro forces. Ramón travels to Cuba for the CIA to see what support Castro has from the people. He learns that many Cubans support Castro and he advises the CIA that it is doubtful there would be support for an invasion of Cuba.

After the fiasco at the Bay of Pigs, Ramón's life returns to normal until the CIA once again recruits him to take agents into Cuba to document the installation of missiles. When he attempts to bring the agents back to Florida, the Cuban military nearly sink his boat. The information he brings back from Cuba is vital to the Kennedy Administration and their confrontation with the Soviet Union to remove the missiles.

When it rained, or the sun was too hot, I used to hold a bunch of palmetto fans over her head. We very nearly all died. I lost two sisters. There was no water; we dug a hole in the ground. We lived one Hell of a life.”. . .

Thomas Wetherell

Stan Taylor, Tom Wetherell, Lislie Tucker, Ed Dunn, Murray McDonald, Ollie and Olive Hull relate their stories on the ‘way it was’ in the Volusia, Flagler area. Some of the families arrived in the mid 1850’s, so they are able to impart a personal touch to the lifestyle many years ago

Author: Stuart Holroyd

For those of you who have been awaiting the day that you could purchase the popular Briefing for the Landing on Planet Earth - that day is here. It is finally available again, newly published as The Nine: Briefing From Deep Space.

Finally you can own the story of the three people behind The Only Planet of Choice - brought to life by Stuart Holroyd, the skeptical, yet open-minded observer who wrote the book of their encounters.

Preface:

Dear Reader:

This story began in the late sixties and continues to this day. It could have happened to any one of you. It is the story of three people coming together to follow some apparently cosmic guidance on faith, while they repeatedly asked themselves the question: "What if?" I am one of those people. I am a Deep Trance Medium who has no recall of what is received. I call myself a Transceiver.

My partners in this experience were Andrija Puharich, M.D. from Ossining, New York, and Sir John Whitmore from England. Many of you have perhaps heard of Dr. Puharich. It was he who discovered the well-known Israeli psychic Uri Geller and brought him to the United States. Sir John Whitmore, after retiring from professional sports, and following a near death experience, then began his own quest for understanding life.

The cosmic guides call themselves The Nine Principles of the Universe. I simply call them The Management or The Nine. They became our friends. It was a miracle that three strong willed people from such diverse backgrounds managed to let go of self and enormous egos to pull together as one - or at least made heroic efforts to do so!

Because it was never published in the U.S., "Briefing" soon became a collector's item that was photocopied and passed around covertly. Meanwhile, Dr. Puharich arranged for Uri Geller to be tested in Government Labs around the U.S. and was somewhat vocal in his findings, which prompted negative reactions from certain quarters. It was a time of denial in the U.S. about all possible E.T. connections. The mood is different today. I feel now is the right time for this book to be republished, and made available in the United States.

Our beloved Dr. Andrija Puharich passed on to explore other Universes in 1995. John and I continue to meet and he communicates with The Nine; at times others sit in. This work still goes on and hopefully will do so for a very long time.

Sincerely

Phyllis V. Schlemmer

Since its spectacular launch in 1993, The Only Planet of Choice has been widely acknowledged as one of the most significant books for our time.

of the thousands who have already read it have spoken of the profound effect it has had upon them.

This book represents the outcome of over  20 years of work with a distinguished international research group who have communicated with an enlightened circle of universal beings known at times as "The Council of Nine" and more often as "The Nine."

The Source have stated that, while other planets do have choice, the consciousness is collective.  Only on Earth can a being experience individual choice.

I do hope that you find the ongoing dialogues as helpful in your journey through life as I have found them in mine.

The Search for Old Kings Road

Softcover: 212 pages
Author: William Ryan

Old Kings Road was a remarkable highway built by British Engineers prior to the American Revolution. It once ran from Colerain Georgia south to Jacksonville (then called Cow Ford), to St. Augustine, thru what is now Flagler County Florida, and finally to New Smyrna on Florida's Atlantic Coast.

This was the main route into Florida continuing up to the 20th century. Many older Florida residents still recall using this now vanished ancient route.

Here were the battles, famous soldiers, refugees, a rich plantation economy, land hungry settlers and a history going back over 240 years. It has known one of our country's worst wars, one that lasted over seven years and deeply scarred the American memory. It carried a little known slave rebellion long before the much later battles of the Civil War. Florida's early history was linked to Old Kings Road.

While it has been covered by construction, blocked or abandoned over these many years, Old Kings refuses to die or vanish. This is Bill Ryan's research about this little known piece of American History, once named as "An American Engineering Treasure."

Author and historian Bill Ryan is webmaster of the Flagler Public Library's Flagler Memories group, and is active in the Flagler County Florida Historical Societies. This is the story of his search for Old Kings Road, the ancient highway that refused to vanish. Bill Ryan is also the author of "I am Grey Eyes" the story of a remarkable colonial era cattle drive down Old Kings Road, and Florida's early story as viewed by Grey Eyes, a most unusual Seminole Indian.

Joe has been trying to tell this story for some time.  It’s his story, but not his alone. It’s also the story of those who lived and died alongside him, in Viet Nam and in that other battle, for justice and safety under the shield of the law, that is fought daily in the streets of every big city by every honest cop.  In his case, the city was the Naked City and the cop was a Latino. And the battle was neither for the civilians alone, nor just against the bad guys in the street.  Sometimes the bad guys were in the Department.  And sometimes the people who needed protection were the honest cops.
